Sharing Faith through Fellowship and Worship

                                             Sunday Club

(Sunday Club at Pentecost)

Children and Young People are very welcome at all our services and events.

We are committed to including babies, children and young people in all aspects of our life together, enabling them to live and grow in faith and to play their part in sharing the worshipping life of the church. Children are admitted to receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion at about the age of 8 and prepared for Confirmation from the age of 10 upwards. Young people are encouraged to join our team of welcomers, altar servers, to sing in the choir and to read.

For Very young children there are 'Happy Bags' for parents to use with their children. There are creche facilities in the tower which has a sound system so parents do not miss the service!

Between the ages of 3+ and 11+ there is the very popular Sunday Club. This meets in Church at 9.45am, the children stay for the first hymn and then go the church tower (whilst Church House is being refurbished) for their own activities joining the congregation before communion. A highlight is listening to them telling us what they have learnt and sharing their art work with us.

The Ark is for babies, pre school children and their parents and carers. It meets in church on Wednesdays at 9.30am for songs, activities and play with plenty of time for a cup of coffee/ tea and a chat. The regular celebration of birthdays is a highlight!
