Children and Young People are very welcome at all our services.

We are committed to including babies, children and young people in all aspects of our life together, enabling them to live and grow in faith. Children are admiited to receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion at about the age of 8 and prepared for Confirmation from the age of 11 upwards.

For very young children there are 'Happy Bags' for parents to use with their children. There are creche facilities in the tower which has a sound system so parents do not miss the service!

For children between the ages of 3+ and 14 there is the very popular Sunday Club. This meets in Church House at 9.40am and the children join the adult congregation part way through the service. There are three age groups and new and occasional members are always welcome.

The Ark is for babies, pre school children and their parents and carers. We meet in church on Wednesdays at 2pm for a short act of worship with a story, song and activity with time for a cup of tea, chat and home in time to meet older children from school. The regular celebration of birthdays is a highlight!

Young people of senior school age enjoy their own evening service once a month. They also meet regularly to enjoy a range of activities including bowling, sailing, rock climbing etc etc.

A new discussion group has been introduced. Young people meet for supper and discuss current topics that are of interest to them.

We adhere to a Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy, in line with that of the Diocese of Southwark, which seeks to ensure the greatest safety and well being of all our children and those who work with them.
