Notice of adjournment of the
Annual Parishioners Meeting
and the
Annual Parochial Church Meeting
I have shared with our church community, by email, that a tragic death has occurred recently within the parish, affecting members of the church community.
Our focus today is to gather as a church to grieve, comfort one another and offer support. Therefore, it is appropriate to adjourn our annual meetings this morning.
However, for legal reasons, at 9:30 am on Sunday 28th April 2024 I formally opened and adjourned the Annual Parishioners Meeting and the Annual Parochial Church Meeting due today.
The adjourned meetings will now be on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. in St. Mary’s Church. Immediately following that meeting will be the first PCC meeting to appoint Officers. The PCC Secretary has recorded this action for the minutes.
This Annual Parishioners Meeting is a meeting that is open to all in the parish. I apologise if an inconvenience was caused, but I am sure you will understand.
