Keyed Up Appeal

We believe that music and fine instruments are part of our musical future. However, our upright pianos have become obsolete. We have bought an electronic keyboard costing us £810 as a temporary solution. With your support, we’re hoping to take the next big step.
Invest in our future
With a baby grand piano, we will open the door to concerts, recitals and a host of musical activities for everyone - from professional musicians and school students to community groups and local performers. It will also help the church to stabilise its finances for future years.
Tune in to our appeal
St. Mary’s Church is leading a campaign to raise funds to invest in a first-class baby grand piano. Tristan Hall, our Director of Music, has recommended a Yamaha GB1K Baby Grand Piano. The piano and accessories will cost approximately £9,500.
Music to our ears
Would you consider supporting our appeal? So far, we have received two generous donations totalling £3,000. Our choir is active in fundraising towards this cause. So, join in and offer a melody of joy: we suggest donations of
- £60 for each of the fifty-two white keys
- £130 for each of the thirty-six black keys
- Or you can give whatever you can afford

This is your church, and every gift, large or small, brings us one step closer to enhancing music in the church and enriches our village life. I am sure this will be something we can all enjoy for years to come. If we raise more than needed, we will use the surplus to promote our concerts and recitals.
Thank you for tuning in and considering our appeal.
Every blessing
Father Paul
